We are currently looking for talented web developers with experience in turning ideas into successful Magento modules. Knowledge of Zend framework and MVC design pattern a must.

A successful applicant will work closely with the team here at Meanbee, helping us to turn more of our ideas into modules for the Magento community.  We are interested in applicants with enthusiasm to be involved from design to release.

The position is remote, meaning you can work from home. We don't have an office and communicate, primarily, through Skype and online project management tools, meaning that good communication skills and fluent grasp of the English language are a strict requirement.

Ideally, we are looking for people based in the United Kingdom, although will consider all applications. Working hours are flexible, we don't micro manage and trust that you can deliver on time and to specification.

Requirements

• An expert level understanding of XHTML, CSS, Javascript (including AJAX, PrototypeJS) and other emerging web technologies.
• Strong PHP5 / Object Oriented Programming skills.
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns.
• Evidence support a strong understand of Magento including module development and theme customisation.
• Experience with software development life cycle, from design and implementation to unit testing and production deployment.
• Familiarity and experience working on *nix systems (preferably CentOS)
• Source control with SVN or git.
• Detail oriented with excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Expressive verbal and written communications skills with the ability to write design specifications, programming specifications, and documentation.
